Points Related to the Retreat: - The sleeping arrangements are spartan. Male and female participants will be in Dorm rooms with mattresses on the floor. There are no raised beds. If anyone has problems sleeping on the floor do let us know in advance and we will see what arrangements we can make.
There is no talking in the retreat. It is a Silent Retreat. Please Do Not Break this rule. Only speak to organizers and Monks/Nuns if anything is needed.
Food served within TRV premises is strictly vegetarian including no eggs.
Breakfast and Lunch will be served on the ground floor.
There is hot water on each floor so one can make tea/coffee/Coco drinks as needed. We will provide limited supplies for evening tea break.
1st floor washrooms are for Male participants. 2nd floor washrooms are for Female participants.
Monks stay on the 1st floor and Nuns on 2nd floor.
Ground floor Hall is off limits to the group as it is used for ceremonies and other religious activities.
Parking lot, corridors on 1st floor and 2nd floor and back of the 1st floor Dhamma Hall can be used for walking meditation.
The Retreat Schedule: Official retreat days will begin on 21st and ends on 31st January 2019. Monday 21st Jan: Arrival and Registration time will begin 2 pm. Evening opening Talk will include site orientation, guidelines for retreat, and basic instructions. Tusday 22nd Jan: Begin Retreat. the retreat will be a silent retreat under 8 precepts, with daily interviews from 23rd Jan. This is a Metta-Vipassana Retreat (Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation) Thursday 31st Jan: The retreat will officially end after morning service, meditation and breakfast.

First you have to come to KL Sentral then take a KTM Komuter train to Klang Komuter station

The former Klang bus and taxi terminal is located right in the heart of the town opposite the Mydin Shopping Complex, but it has since been moved to Klang Sentral, which is about 8 kilometers away from the town centre.
Buses to and from Kuala Lumpur, Port Klang, Kuala Selangor, Banting and other destinations have been operating out of Klang Sentral since 27 December 2008. As Klang Sentral is located far away from the town centre, the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) has established five bus pick-up points around the town for the convenience of the passengers.
Transnasional and Cityliner buses operate between Klang and Kuala Lumpur as well as Port Klang. The No. 710 goes to Kuala Lumpur while No. 126 goes to Port Klang. Rapid KL buses operate between Klang, Kuala Lumpur (from KL Sentral and Central Market) and Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya. Wawasan Sutera and Metrobus also operate frequent services to Kuala Lumpur. KMK Express, offering various route from Klang to different destination in Malaysia. Currently the company operating fleet of 15 buses with the brand name of KMK StarCoach Express. Other operators include Ardent Link and various minibus companies.
