Volunteer: We request our participants to volunteer for few tasks which are needed in the retreat such as bell ringer, assisting with kitchen clean-up, setting tables, setting up sound system. This should be seen as part of the practice of meditation not apart from it.
One Full time Volunteer for 10 days is needed. They can be on 5 precepts if needed. They will be responsible for the complete retreat and tasks like coordinating with caterer, problem solving and any retreat related activities.
The Retreat Schedule: Official retreat days will begin on 19th and ends on 27th July 2019. Friday 19th July: Arrival and Registration time will begin @ 3 pm. Early light Dinner @ 5.00 pm (Only on the first day). Evening opening Talk will include site orientation, guidelines for retreat, and basic instructions. Saturday 20th July: Begin Retreat. It is a silent retreat under 8 precepts, with daily interviews from 21st July. This is a Samatha-Vipassana Retreat (TWIM - Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation) Saturday 27th July: The retreat will officially end after morning service, meditation and breakfast.

Nearest Railway Station : Vashind - Have to catch Kasara or Asangoan (Central Line) Please exit the Vasind Railway station on the west side last bridge towards Kalyan. Here Rickshaw drivers await passengers. Tell them you want to go to Vipassana Center in Kasane village. The charges are Rs. 60 to 80/-.
